NIDO Student Success Program
Nexim Professional Development Program is a pre-employment program that gives youth from marginalized communities the opportunity to develop the skills and competencies needed to work in today’s challenging labor market.
Through this initiative, we will directly employ youth aged 18 – 30 who face multiple barriers to employment. Employed youth will work in various departments in our thriving company on a part-time basis with a combination of paid training, direct employment, and performance management. The youth that we partner with will have access to:
- Resume building
- Employment skills training
- Job readiness supports
- Job shadowing opportunities
- Mentorship.
- Career and entrepreneurship coaching
Youth who successfully complete the training component and work experience components will also receive completion bonuses and a certificate of completion. They will also be invited to attend an annual event for all of our program graduates to celebrate their achievements.
